On August 15th 2017, Mr Porter launched eleven timepieces from the Clifton Collection. Standout models include the newly released Clifton Club models, such as the Clifton GMT and the Clifton Club Shelby Cobra Saytona Coupe.
A limited edition of the Flyback Chronograph, of which only 196 pieces have been produced, will be launched as well as two timepieces from the Classima Collection featuring both Classima Automatic and Quartz novelties.

You might expect on something dressier like that to see brightly colored polished palms – and I can see the appeal. After getting the blued hands in sight, however, I think they work very well. For starters, it makes a crisp contrast to the white of the dial, which makes for simple readability. The coloration can also be a bit shifty. This way, I mean it may appear a glowing blue in 1 light, and then change into an almost-black color (and it appears darker in most of these photographs), which again speaks to a dressier piece.On the wrist, that the 68g Baume & Mercier Hampton was a cure. Take particular note of that burden, as that is merely about a featherweight when it comes to automatics (or, perhaps, I am just too utilized to steel dive watches). While the instance back isn’t curved in any way, I found the fit on my wrist to be great. The alligator strap added some extra texture into the watch, along with the signed deployant clasp worked nicely, and I did not have any issues with it digging in my wrist when I had matters sized, which I love. That’s something I’ve noticed is a bigger problem when you’ve got a deployant onto a strap – it can wind up adding unnecessary mass, which then ends up digging into your skin. Here, I did not have that problem, thankfully.Coming in at an asking price of $2,650, the Baume & Mercier Hampton is a solid small luxury dress watch. I believe the one we reviewed together with the blue handset is the most flexible, since you might easily swap into a brown strap onto this and also have a more casual look, giving it more flexibility. Of course, you may also decide on a model which arrives on the brown strap (in either an automatic or a quartz – the quartz model dropping the price $1100). While dress watch purists may not agree with me, I really do believe the Baume & Mercier Hampton is a superb art deco inspired apparel watch prepared to take on the workplace or a night out with a tux.
